Concerning Data Processing with Google Analytics™

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the responsibility for data processing conducted via this website lies outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the relevant Google Analytics data processing is carried out by Google LLC. (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC are hereinafter collectively referred to as "Google.") The data processing involved in connecting this website to Google Analytics is carried out by Jimdo. Please refer to Jimdo’s privacy policy [here] and the privacy policy of KDDI Web Communications, which provides Jimdo services in Japan, [here].

Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files stored on the visitor’s computer, to help analyze the use of the website. Information generated by cookies regarding the use of the website (including a truncated IP address) is normally transmitted to and stored by Google.

On this website, Google Analytics is exclusively used with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension. This extension ensures that IP addresses are anonymized by truncation, excluding any direct personal reference. Through this extension, Google truncates the IP addresses of site visitors within the European Union or other contracting countries of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the United States, where it is truncated. The IP address provided by the visitor’s browser when using Google Analytics is not merged with other data held by Google.

On behalf of the website operator, Google uses the collected information to evaluate website usage, compile reports on website activity, and provide other website and internet-related services to the website operator (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The legitimate interest in data processing lies in optimizing this website, analyzing its usage, and tailoring its content. Users’ interests are adequately protected through data pseudonymization.

Google guarantees an appropriate level of data protection based on the European standard contractual clauses. Data linked to Google Analytics cookies (such as user IDs or advertising IDs) is automatically deleted after 50 months. Deletion of data that has reached its retention period occurs automatically once per month.

Visitors can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in their browser. Additionally, visitors can prevent Google from collecting and processing information (including IP addresses) via cookies by installing the browser plugin available at: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Visitors can also prevent data collection via Google Analytics on this website by clicking on the Cookie Settings. An “opt-out cookie” will then be applied to prevent the collection of visitor data during future visits to this website.

For more information, please refer to Google Analytics Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Under the GDPR and related laws, visitors have certain rights regarding the data processed by Google Analytics, particularly the rights to access, correct, transfer, or delete data. Visitors also have the right to object to specific data processing. To exercise these rights regarding Google Analytics on this website, data subjects (site visitors) may contact Jimdo or the website operator at any time.
